Capel 4 v Magaret River 0
On a beautiful morning for soccer, Capel Wolves hosted Margaret River at Churchill Park in Busselton. Within the first few minutes it became clear that both sides were evenly matched, with many furious tackles and driving runs. However Capel soon gained the upper hand and started to control play with Daniel Lewis scoring one of his two goals for the day.
With the game evenly poised, Wolves keeper Jack Herbert launched himself to his right to brilliantly save a Margret River shot. This then lifted the benchmark and the rest of the team responded to assert their dominance. Krystal Stewart made the most of a goal mouth scramble to score her first goal and Joshua Lewis also netted the ball at the death for a well deserved 4-0 result. The Wolves defense again stood tall with Reegan Ingram (man of the match) playing a decisive role as right back. All up a great game and well fought by both sides.
